Friday, December 4th, 2009How long is "A" school for search and rescue medical technician in the Navy?
I'm thinking about joining the Navy as search and rescue medical technician. So I was curious how long it would be at "A" school.
Can Google or Yahoo search to find the answer, but I offer some food for thought. I do not know his motivation for the Navy but I would strongly suggest that investigation of the Air Force for the same career field. Another idea is when you choose the branch you want, consider joining the reserves to get the training. If you like, sign. In doing so, probably can get your choice of locations, or possibly even "School B". If you find that no your cup of tea, which has training and you have to do a few years of one weekend a month to pay back. You can even get tuition assistance if you want go to college. Having been on both services will advise you of the Air Force, but you can choose it to impress' you. Good Luck.
