Dora Explorer
Wednesday, November 25th, 2009Dora the Explorer is the Hispanic cartoon character for children. Dora made her premiere on Nickelodeon in 1999 and for 2000 the show had become a basic network element. In 2005, he became the first Hispanic character balloon to grace the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Dora is a girl cheerful, energetic and enthusiastic with a wide circle of friends and a close and loving family. Each episode finds her character embarking on a mission to make a good work, or to help a friend. The mission usually consists of Dora are three specific places where you must find things or complete certain tasks. Dora the Explorer has been considered an educational character. Children learn some basic words and phrases in Spanish. Dora comes with a problem in each episode. We solve the problem using base names, adjectives and commands that asks children to repeat after it. When children see it, are part of the agenda, as they are asked to be active. Parents often hear their children in front of the screen or saying words in Spanish after seeing the show. Children also learn basic math skills Dora and music, physical coordination and how to observe situations and solve problems. Dora is always ready to stop any activity to help someone in need.
Dora is very popular among children in the United States. She has also gained international fame. Dora the Explorer is broadcast in countries from China to Greece to Spain. There is even a Hebrew version.
Dora the Explorer is often seen on merchandise. His face through backpacks, shirts, jackets, shoes, hats and jewelry. It is also the star of numerous video games including Backpack Adventure, Super Spies, and Dora the Explorer's World Adventure. Unfortunately, many Dora-themed toys made in China and were affected by lead paint in memory.
