Lego Creator
When it comes to computer technology is often the case that you need a large number of people working together to create something new and ingenious. However, know from experience that sometimes it is an individual human being who 'cracks the code "that leads to a new way of doing things. It is not that what technology is, new ways of doing things? In the case of Macromedia Flash we have look at a person in particular, Jonathan Gay. This type quite revolutionized the way of animation and sound now can be manipulated to reflect the vision of contemporary artists through computers and the Internet.
Here are a couple of examples of Flash that just what happened was prepared for the articles I have written in the past (Is this shameless promotion?) http://ezinearticles.com/?Internet-Dating:-Future-Internet:-Human-Collaboration-Example- 2 & id = 76,006 This is the article,
http://www.m6.net/articles/images/article2.swf is the accompanying animation, and
http://www.gavinillustration.com/ is the website of the artist who collaborated with me in time. Here's another: http://searchwarp.com/swa32978.htm, with its flash created by graphic artist himself: http://www.m6.net/articles/images/neopet.swf. What do you think? Well, this is the simple side of Flash. It becomes much more detailed, diverse, and can achieve a great depth of vision, as you probably already know. Http: / / www.sqcircle.com/ is an example of some creative Flash pretty good.
So what is all this to do with LEGO then? Well, I was reading an autobiographical article by the man himself in Flash target = "_blank" href = "http://www.adobe.com/macromedia/events/john_gay/"> http://www.adobe.com/macromedia/events/john_gay/ and said with simplicity and directness of how his method joint development of ideas comes from the same process used as a child when playing with colored plastic blocks from LEGO. Are you a genius? Maybe … but probably not. The most likely is the idea that a human being like the rest of us, but has worked hard throughout their lives (sometimes by fun, sometimes for survival / paycheck, sometimes for both) and you have found a system of evolving ideas that works. This is the system used to develop both Flash recently and LEGO when he was a bit younger.
1. Choose a problem: build a LEGO ship.
2. Develop a vision: What kind of boat will be? How big is it? What will you wear?
3. Build: Build the framework of the ship.
4. Fill in the details: Design and construction of the vessel details, ramps, doors, etc.
5. Test: Drive the cars (Matchbox, Hotwheels) around the ship and the ship while exploring the house.
6. Filter: Take parts of the ship apart and make them better.
7. More information: Take what you learned from building this ship and use it to build a better one next time.
So What can web developers and graphic designers hoping to get out of this? Well, you could get an understanding that the creation of something new is not as difficult as previously thought. You may only need a system … and might already have built unconsciously systems in your life just by being alive and interacting with the world around you? Or possibly, you might remember that you do not need a genius to build something that helps human beings have a better existence. You just have to be someone who works diligently with focus, perseverance, and a goal in mind.
Remember that friend in elementary school they had built their own LEGO creations? Unfortunately, it was one of those children. I was happy just to create the designs that were explained with instructions and a picture on the side of the box. Whenever I was impressed when a boy showed me how he built a football stadium, racetrack or airport. Then there are the grown children as co-founder of Google, Larry Page, who built an inkjet printer operation block LEGO, while in college. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LEGO in Under the "culture of the community of fans and section 'and you can read more about the incredible inventions and LEGO people expected, and then created.
Just remember, is that humans created LEGO built wonderful things about it (locks in full swing, pendulum clocks, and a key to name a few), and the humans who created the Internet, websites, and information technology. It might be time to have a little faith in yourself and in your personal systems of work and production … You could be the next creator of something that changed the world as well as Macromedia Flash … or even LEGO! Finding a system that works for you, let your imagination and let us all see what can come of their personal interests and unique individual perspective on the life.
